【International Children's Folklore & Folkgame Festival】

- Location: Dongshan River Water Park
- Details: The International Children's Folklore & Folkgame Festival is Taiwan’s only large-scale international festival dedicated to children’s games and folklore. Each year, it features three to four themed exhibition halls, creating a fun-filled water and land playground.
Taking advantage of Dongshan River Water Park’s natural setting, the festival includes uniquely designed large-scale water play facilities, allowing visitors to cool off and enjoy the summer. With exciting performances and beautiful scenery, this is a full-day event perfect for families and children.

【Yilan Queqiao Festival】

- Details: Inspired by the legendary love story of the Cowherd and Weaver Girl, the Yilan Queqiao Festival is held during the seventh lunar month each year, creating special moments for lovers. 【Wujie Zou-Wang 】
- Date: February 16, 2025
- Location: Lize Yong'an Temple, Wujie
- Details: Zou-Wang originated from the traditional fire-walking ritual to ward off misfortune, which has since evolved into a competitive palanquin race. In addition to the Zou-Wang competition, the event also features one of Taiwan’s most popular temple road runs. Participants can enjoy a scenic and flat running route, along with a series of folk culture experiences at the venue.

【The 114th Yilan County Dragon Boat Championship】

- Details:The 2025 Yilan County Dragon Boat Championship kicked off with the traditional eye-dotting and river-blessing ceremony on May 21. Following ancient customs, the county government prayed for safety and success for the dragon boats, symbolizing a smooth and successful competition. The official races will take place on May 30 and 31, bringing together 65 teams and over 1,400 participants for a grand event.
The dragon boat races are accompanied by student sketching activities and captivating performances, making the event not just a competition, but a summer festival that blends art and culture.

Starting from May 30, the park will offer the "Mugwort Floral Crafting Experience" and the "Creative Rice Dumpling DIY" activity, inviting you to celebrate the festival through hands-on participation. Each activity is paired with a “Land Dragon Boat” fun race, combining education and entertainment—perfect for families to enjoy a warm and festive holiday together.

【2025 Sanqi Scenic Trail Hot Air Balloon Carnival】

- Location: Farmland beside the old Dongshan River dock
- Detail:The event takes place near Yilan's Dongshan Train Station, known for its wide-open views. Visitors can enjoy tethered hot air balloon rides ascending up to 60 meters, offering a 360-degree panoramic view of the Dongshan River and Turtle Island. Immerse yourself in the scenic beauty of Yilan’s version of “Brown Boulevard,” featuring stunning painted rice paddies.
Overlook the Lanyang Plain from above and capture the dreamlike view of painted rice paddies interwoven with winding field paths.
