【Tiger Mountain Ecological Trail in Taipei】
The Tiger Mountain Ecological Trail is located in the Xinyi District of Taipei. Even amidst the bustling city center, you can experience the tranquility of nature.The trail extends along a clear stream, featuring comfortable paved pathways and water platforms for visitors to enjoy.April to May is a popular time for firefly watching, as swarms of fireflies illuminate the night sky, creating a picturesque and dreamy scene.

Located in Jiaoxi Township, Yilan, Paolun Road, also known as Xiaojiaoxi.It consists of clear streams and dense forests, providing an ideal ecological environment for fireflies to thrive. It's a popular spot for firefly watching.The firefly watching event for the year 2024 will run from April 1st to May 20th.During this period, the Jiaoxi Township Office collaborates with local communities to implement traffic control measures to ensure the safety of visitors. The firefly watching route spans approximately 2 kilometers from the controlled intersection to the Xiaojiaoxi Bridge. Additionally, guided tours are held every weekend, led by professional guides who provide in-depth insights into the ecology of fireflies. It's a perfect opportunity to plan a summer trip to Yilan.

【Sun Moon Lake in Nantou has water alleys.】
Located in Nantou County, "You Shui Xiang" is the most conveniently accessible spot near Sun Moon Lake for watching fireflies, making it a popular destination for firefly viewing.The entrance to Youshui Alley is near the Miluoke Scenic Hotel, marked by a sign for Dongfeng Black Tea. Cars can park on the side of Route 21, and after walking less than 100 meters inward, you can see beautiful fireflies. It's just a five-minute walk from the firefly viewing trail. The station's secluded atmosphere also makes it a favorite among railroad enthusiasts and photographers.
